Rewe Parish Council serves the parishes of Rewe, Latchmoor and Upexe.  It is a geographically dispersed parish where the main activity is farming and therefore it has a low population density, containing about 350 electors.

The parish council is a local authority that makes decisions on behalf of the people in the parish.  It is the level of government closest to the community, with the district authority (East Devon District Council) above it in the hierarchy.   As it is the authority closest to the people, parish councils are invariably the first place people will go with concerns or ideas.  For this reason they are a vital part of any community.

Parish councillors are elected by parishioners and are not paid for their efforts either in attending meetings, working with District and County Councillors and local organisations including the police or in a wide range of other activities.

The dates of Parish Council meetings are in the Rewe events calender, all meetings start at 19:30, members of the public are welcome to attend.  The links below will take you directly to details of the Rewe Parish Councillors, the agenda’s and minutes of previous meetings and to the Rewe Emergency Plan.
